Location. The Park Hotel is a country resort hotel converted in 1939 from an 18th century estate and sporting lodge. Set on the shore of Lake Ramon, the property is located 52 miles northwest of Dublin and 6 miles from the Boyne Valley.
Hotel Features.The surrounding estate features Lough Ramor, where guests can spend the day of fishing with easily accessible boat rentals at the Park's boat house. Visitors can also explore 100 acres of wooded trails or play a round of golf on the hotel's nine hole golf course. The Park Hotel's Marquis & Marchioness Dining Rooms are known for being one of Ireland's top architecturally renowned restaurants and serve classic European dishes using produce organically grown in the estate greenhouse, kitchen gardens and orchard.
Guestrooms. The 28 traditionally furnished guestrooms all include televisions, telephones, and coffee and tea makers, while ensuite bathrooms provide showers and bathtubs.
Expert Tip. The Boyne Valley, 6 miles from the hotel, boasts the huge Neolithic tomb mounds built around 3200BC, making them older than Stonehenge and the Pyramids of Giza.
